I would add that they stopped doing that particular chant, and now they do the Ski U Mah as a part of another cheer, driven by the cheerleaders and student section and funny, it now WORKS.

The cheer team was out there with giant flags to do the change, and the fans never caught on. That's why they had the PA guy start "helping" in the first place.

Not my recollection. The very first time they did it was with PA guy and the color coded instructions on the board. Tried it for a year (maybe 2) and now it's part of the pregame band songs and works great (no PA guy).
