Just saw the all-ACC team posted on ESPN. Who would get the vote for All-B1G from the Gophers.

FB - Bronko Nagurski

DL - Bobby Bell
DE - Carl Eller

I can't honestly think of any other Gophers who would stand a chance to be on the All-Time All-B1G first team.

Note: Drew Brees over the G.O.A.T. Tom Brady due to his college production.

Tyrone Carter?

Possibly, but there is no way he is ahead of Charles Woodson, he would be a lock along with Butkus on the defense.

They played different positions. Woodson was a CB in college. Carter a safety.

Right.

Carter....

1998: First team All-American
1999: Consensus first team All-American.
Jim Thorpe winner.

584 (414 solo) career tackles. All time NCAA D1-A record.

He was dominant.

Charles Woodson won the Heisman. Rod Woodson is widely considered the second best defensive back in history behind Deion.

Maybe Tyrone Carter would have a shot at Safety.

Special teams consideration for Rick Upchurch?

I'm trying....

Paul Giel: Silver Trophy as most valuable player in the Big Ten twice, All-American twice; 3rd for Heisman jr year, 2nd senior year (in closest voting in Heisman history up to that point.
