Per Ryan Burns, "was on scholarship at Michigan for track, but he'll start practicing with Minnesota's football team when the fall semester begins."
"Carlson's RP team faced Tyler Johnson's North team in the state title game as seniors. That year, Carlson rushed 2,785 yards and 41 (!!) touchdowns. He also ended his career a five-time state champion on the track at 6'2". Will be curious to see what position he sticks at."
