UW-Madison does not want former Badgers wide receiver Quintez Cephus back lawyers say

NCAA declares Cephus eligible to play.

If he was not charged with a crime, and the school did not suspend or expel him ... there would be no reason for the team to punish him or the NCAA to sanction him.

The only discussion to be had in this case, is if the school should've stuck with their initial decision of expulsion, or if the school did the right thing.

It had nothing to do with the criminal charges or the school's discipline - NCAA rules require a student athlete to take a minimum of 12 credits per semester. He didn't take any in the Spring, for obvious reasons. That's the only thing the NCAA was ruling on.

Sure, if you want to ignore the fact that he shouldn’t have been expelled to begin with. Of course, in your reasoning this is now a “no harm no foul” situation - just as it is for SG17, AWjr11, etc. I still recall your wonderful “that will have no impact on them” take.

The World is a big place. Sorry you can’t see that.
