Like the B1G there are really 3 levels and inside each level you could just play a game of boggle and I wouldn't disagree.

For all those that rank GSU last on your wish list, you are foolish.

GSU will be better the F-State, SDSU. Illinois , Iowa or the Red Rubbers.

None of that is terribly outlandish, considering it’s coming from GSU’s top fan, except for Iowa.

As much as you want it to be different, reality bites.

I'd probably put GSU above Fresno if the Fresno game was at home.

I'd go with that assessment, but I don't think GSU should be ranked any higher than 9th on your schedule until we prove ourselves.

I'm surprised others don't have Nebraska higher since they are the Big Ten West favorite of many.
Nebraska doesn't win the west if they don't beat us. We're a must win for them if you look at their schedule.

Sat, Aug 31 South Alabama Lincoln, Neb. 11:00am (CT) ESPN
Sat, Sep 7 @ Colorado Boulder, Colo. 2:30pm (CT) Fox
Sat, Sep 14 Northern Illinois Lincoln, Neb. 7:00pm (CT) FS1
Sat, Sep 21 @ Illinois Champaign, Ill. TBA TBA
Sat, Sep 28 Ohio State Lincoln, Neb. TBA TBA
Sat, Oct 5 Northwestern Lincoln, Neb. 2:30pm (CT) TBA
Sat, Oct 12 @ Minnesota Minneapolis, Minn. TBA TBA
Sat, Oct 26 Indiana Lincoln, Neb. TBA TBA
Sat, Nov 2 @ Purdue West Lafayette, Ind. TBA TBA
Sat, Nov 16 Wisconsin Lincoln, Neb. TBA TBA
Sat, Nov 23 @ Maryland College Park, Md. TBA TBA
Fri, Nov 29 Iowa Lincoln, Neb. 1:30pm (CT) BTN

I think they are looking at their home games as wins (WI, Iowa, NW, OSU) which is nice for them, then thinking MN and Purdue will be fighting for 5th / 6th.
Schedule looks good for them that way.

I don't understand the reasoning behind the Nebraska lovefest. Is it just because of what Frost did at UCF in year 2? I understand the Nebraska offense showed promise last year, but the defense was really bad.

They're all tough - even Illinois could be tough. This is an impossible season to handicap. The media seems to be unanimous that Nebraska will win the West, but four or five teams could. The Gopher non-con schedule is tough, also.

I don’t know... they were bad to start the season.
By PJ math they won their last 7 games of the year.

I’d say much like us, they turned a corner...for them last 7 games they were winners or tough outs versus respected teams.

2019 is a new season. Who knows how Nebraska or Minnesota is going to perform?
Different reasons to believe both could be (should be?) contenders in the West.

Clearly you all have forgotten to include the full schedule!

BCS Final - Abalama
BCS Semi-Final - Clemson
B1G Championship game - Michigan - Little Brown Jug here we come!

They have talent so it isn't absurd.

But maybe more so they have a big fanbase, it is good clickbait .

It's the storyline. popular former QB coming back to restore past glory.

Because they're not that good, they will be a 7-5 football team
