Itayvion Brown Commits - Highest Rated Recruit in 2020 Class

Could be psychologically based to help soften the blow of disappointment....I'm sure there is some element of this.

It’s probably due to a lifetime of being a Minnesota sports fan.

Not sure about Western Michigan but certain many others. i.e Jesper Horsted, Roseville, MN HS grad 2015 - picked up by Da Bears. Wasn't even offered by Kill; what happen to those highly coveted WR kill recruited a few years ago?

Not offering means that he didn't lose the battle.

And re: Horsted specifically, his only FBS offer was Miami (OH). The U offered him a walk-on opportunity, and he wisely attended Princeton instead.

The only chance he has to stick on an NFL roster is if he can gain enough size and strength to play TE, because he is waaaaay too slow to be an NFL WR.

Brilliant!

If you allow yourself to feel joy, well, that's when the real trouble starts.

Unless you have Joy’s permission, you should not touch her.

And then make sure you have it in writing.

Enjoy the moment. If things don't work out, so be it. I think most of us understand the risks involved with recruiting without being reminded.
