No Gophers in 2019 Draft

I think we can all agree this is going to be interesting/weird 2019/2020 season. For the first time a while we don't really know what we're getting out of over half our roster. Demir, Carr, and Payton are all question marks as we haven't seen any of them play a minute in the B1G. It's also hard to predict how our 4 new froshes will perform.

The only thing that I'm certain about on this Gophers squad is that Gabe and Oturu should be a dynamite duo next year for us.

For a coupe of years and then what? Hopefully he gets a two way contract shot at the NBA, maybe it is taking some time because he has a couple of teams wanting to sign him.

Then he has made at least $300-400k+ in his career, TAX FREE if overseas, and can start a 9-5 job. He can finish school before he is done playing basketball still. And he'll be 26 (assuming his career is short), be debt free, sitting on a stash of cash. This is a better outcome than 99% of college graduates.

He will make a couple million and see parts of the world while he is young. Check out the salaries of some of the former college guys that did not make the NBA.

It’s not tax free, the federal government requires you to file taxes if you are overseas, and you will pay if the foreign taxes are less than the US
