    Default All-Gophers 1st & 2nd Teams circa 1992-93 through 2018-19

My top 12 didn't include some guys who had dang nice Gopher careers, including Eric Harris and Hollins x 2. As I noted, in some instances emphasis was placed on career length and team impact (NCAA bids), hence Hump being my "+1" guy for 1st Team and The Rick being my "+1" guy for 2nd Team.

He was in the next 5 or so, but quitting in middle of season, I ruled him out. Great shot blocker, for sure.

If I was putting a roster together from this time period
    Guards
    McDonald, Jackson, Mason, Leonard

    Wings
    Jacobson, Lewis, Grier, Hoffarber

    Bigs
    Thomas, James, Rickert, Hump, Murphy

    Walk-ons
    Rychart, Puchtel

My toughest calls were Coffey vs Hoff, went with Hoff for his shooting and quite frankly there's nothing Coffey can do that Grier can't. Mbakwe vs James was tough, but end of the day James got to a Final Four. Wanted to take Hossa and Shell as walk-ons, per haps they can be Managers with Ryan James and Niko Medved. Reluctantly took Hump, but he had too much talent, same with Rickert. Could make the argument that Jacobson would be a four in today's game and in the case I could put him in Humps spit and add Amir

Mbawkwe was much better than James in my opinion.

I like the way you think!

He's a favorite Gopher (energy guy), but doesn't make the cut.
