Investment has flowed from overseas to the company, Cadre, while Kushner works as an international envoy for the US, according to corporate filings and interviews. The money came through a vehicle run by Goldman Sachs in the Cayman Islands, a tax haven that guarantees corporate secrecy.

Kushner, who is married to Trump’s elder daughter Ivanka, kept a stake in Cadre after joining the administration, while selling other assets. His holding is now valued at up to $50m, according to his financial disclosure documents.

Cadre’s foreign funding could create hidden conflicts of interest for Kushner as he performs his work for the US government, according to some ethics experts, who raised concerns over the lack of transparency around the investments.

“It will cause people to wonder whether he is being improperly influenced,” said Jessica Tillipman, a lecturer at George Washington University law school, who teaches government ethics and anti-corruption laws.

Kushner was initially denied a security clearance by career officials when he joined Trump’s administration. A whistleblower has told Congress it was blocked due to concerns about Kushner’s outside business interests and “foreign influence”. Kushner was later granted a clearance, allegedly after a Trump appointee intervened.

Sweep it under the rug, deuce. Your post dismissing it says it all. And you eat up all the beej, KFC, and CRG posts/links/sources without blinking. You wonder why you've been pegged as a hardcore righty? It's pretty obvious.

not really, I'm skeptical of a lot of their links too. I don't really know what a "Hardcore Righty" is supposed to mean. I'm a laissez faire capitalist and Austrian libertarian. I fully admit most of my views would be considered radical and extreme to most Republicans even. So what? You think it's some kind of rip to call me hardcore? You think you've uncovered some hidden truth? Can you just stop being such a joke? Dial back the arrogance and clumsy insults, engage in good faith, and you might learn something.

Hahaha! You never question your hardcore righty buddy sources. You take them as fact. And diss every left source. So you really want to continue to try and claim to be a moderate? You are a lazy hardcore republican. It's not even difficult to identify you any longer. When I see a deuce post....I know that it's going to be an unintentional joke

2 is the biggest fraud on this board. Beeg is a blindly partisan visceral Trump defender, but at least he doesn't pretend otherwise.

If there is corruption, name specifically what the corruption is? What the illegalities were/are?

I don't object to people waking up to the truth at any time- as long as what they wake up to is really the truth and not some convenient way to adjust things to fit their current political needs.
I'm willing to concede that Melania might not be a grifter and a thug, except she might have overstayed her visa did get her folks in the country quasi illegally. Abusing the system is grifting and thuggery, humble beggar. Hopefully, Tif is behaving herself. The big boys are grifters and thugs. Everybody else around him is a grifter and a thug.

Why are you the way that you are? Sometimes when you've lost your arm in battle, it's best to just admit that you've been beat, gain some credibility, and move on. Failing is growth. You're determined to be a stump.

That’s a conflict that exists for a lot of politicians and administrators. It’s not illegal for her to own stock in companies that could be influenced by Federal policy. She pledged to sell her stock for appearances, not illegality.

That's true. She's just crooked, based on what I posted. Google more about her and her husband. She's corrupt and a swamp creature.

There is no draining the swamp. It's not possible. Politicians are sitting on a lot of things to sell. They're going to sell it. The only solution is to give them fewer things to sell. Washington is too big and powerful. Corruption is inevitable.

You called Donovan "not very bright" for overlooking the corruption in the Clinton Global Initiative: http://www.forums.gopherhole.com/boa...60#post1246060

You called howeda7 "not very smart" for looking the other way with regard to the Clinton Foundation: http://www.forums.gopherhole.com/boa...41#post1246841

Your devil-may-care attitude toward government corruption seems a bit situational.

I find this very analogous to the NCAA violations discussion on the basketball board. We're all subject to the laws of the country, and all any of us want is for the powerful to be held accountable to those same laws. Animal Farm applies just as well to the abuses in our society today as it applied to the scourge of authoritarian communism when it was written.
