Odds revealed for 2019 Big Ten Championship (MN may be best "long shot bet" in conf)

per Hellman:

Minnesota: +8500 — This might be the best “longshot bet” in the conference. Sure, the Gophers are a long shot heating into PJ Fleck’s third season, but there is enough back in a wide-open western division. Crazier things have happened. Minnesota’s defense looks refocused since the transition to Joe Rossi. The running back rotation is quite deep, plus two quarterbacks with starting experience and arguably the top receiver in the conference. They also get both Rutgers and Maryland as crossover opponents.

I don't see any reason why the Gophers can't compete in the West.

Here's a question: will the East maintain their supposed dominance over the West? How good are tOSU, Michigan, Penn State and MSU going to be in 2019?

Lots of big, big changes at Ohio State, including their QB and their HOF coach.

Michigan seems to be in put up or shut up territory. New offense.

Brand new QB at Penn State.
