He was not the HC when we played LAM in 2017. He took over the last 4 games of the season.

If you are talking 2018 the team just got their @ss beat on that day! You have to take the bad with the good & LAM deserved to win

Still GSU recovered and went on to a 10-3 record & a bowl win.

The 2018 10-3 comeback season, even with that beatdown, was better than the 2-10 season from the 2017 HC prior to Lunsford!

What did he tell his team at halftime when they were down 27-10 to LA-Monroe?

In 2018 I think, after the game, Lunsford would have said - "WE JUST GOT OUR @ss beat boys"

Thanks. Now we know what he’ll say after the Minnesota game.

Now you don't have to be snarky about it.

GSU was 9-3 in its regular season and you were 6-6. Thats 3 extra @ss whippings than GSU had!

Difference is that the Gophers played teams with a pulse. Not a bunch of JV teams from the Fun Belt.

I'm sure it will be very interesting for GSU to play a college team for a change.

So you lost your pulse in 6 games.

GSU usually plays SEC & ACC teams so we know what playing BIG TEAMS are like.

You can look them up but in my next post I'll have a run down for you!

I made the point that many of the SEC teams we played as FCS with 63 scholarships were SEC. Yes we lost all but one, as an fcs team, but with most of SEC powers GSU took into the 4th before GSU's cornier Backs got the heck run out of them because we couldn't sub.

EXAMPLES -

Under Erk, playing FSU, we were ahead of FSU 13-10 until 2 and a half minutes into the 4th. They stopped trying to run the ball and subbed the receivers but with 63 scholarships we could not sub our CBs and Safeties. FSU dropped 21 points on GSU by passing in the 4th. WE lost because FSU was deeper but they deserved to win.

We played East Carolina 3 times when they were D1 and GSU was FCS. In all those games both teams scored around 40 points each. East Carolina eeked by us each time with a very small margin of a win. (under 7)

Under HC Stowers, who was not a great HC, we lead Auburn 17-0 at half then the same thing happened again (DEPTH AGAIN)
We also got our @ss beat by Miami in the 90s as most teams did.

Under Paul Johnson we were 4 sec away from beating the OS Beavers with 500 yards of offense. GSU 4! - OSU 48

Under HC Monken FCS GSU did beat Florida & if you watch the highlights GSU ran all over them.

Those games were when GSU was 1aa or FCS with 63 scholarships.

The first year we moved to FBS under head coach Fritz running the Pistol Option

GSU played GT, was behind by about 28 points in the 3rd, Came back and was winning in the last 2 min of the game and fumbled which lead to the winning GT score.
GSU played South Carolina. GSU was winning until the last 2 minutes lost the ball and Carolina won.
U of Georgia or UGA. We went into overtime and lost!

I know what many of you will say. All but 0ne of GSUs fcs games was a win. I know many Gopher fans will look at our first 2 years in FBS and say, you were close but GSU ended up losing. Still the FACT remains that if we came close enough FBS teams when we were FCS with 63 scholarships & then move to FBS and in our first 2 years taking GT, SC, and #5 Georgia to the brink then you better be prepared and not take GSU so lightly!

Maybe with LSU but not the Gophers!

LSU beat Miami 33-17
Wisconsin beat Miami 35-3
Minnesota beat Wisconsin 37-15

Therefore, Minnesota > LSU. ;)

You play LSU too? Looks like a 1-2 start to the season, assuming you can handle Maine.

Have you been trolling the LSU forums too?

I guess figures dont lie from LAST YEAR. Still it was last year & you didn't play LSU! So I have to figure that GSU has a chance with LSU and then beats the Gophers.

I understand your logic and now will apply it. When GSU beats the Gophers GSU will be greater ++>>> than all the teams you beat in the BIG- Right!

With all those names to look up, separating the starters from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd string , & never will bes, the only one to really worry you have is our 3 point kicker. because 3 points is how many points the Gophers will lose by- 3 points!

My Idea because land is cheep in north Dakota!

Shooting deer, buffalo , ducks or geese in South Dakota with a cannon

BIG GAME FIRST

http://www.buckstix.com/howitzer.htm

Ducks and geese

Have you ever heard of a swivel cannon?

http://steencannons.com/wp-content/u...annon-1-pd.jpg

Using the same principle you take a smaller navy swivel cannon. Take a 12 oz beer can and load it with small turkey shot for distance.
Most of the time when you're bird hinting you can only have to shells in your shotgun. My way you only have one shell - one big shell! The shell is a 12 oz coke can, or smaller, depending on the barrel size of the black powder swivel cannon we buy.

Aim the swivel in front of the lead bird in the flock and let it rip. With on shot you should meet your quota for the day! ;-)

Nope. Have you any idea the limit per day? You are going to jail by actually using this thing, my God!

Here is why. It was a joke!

I do not shoot animals! While I do have a shotgun and 380 caliber pistol I only target practice with them.

I prefer shooting my shotgun at sporting clays ranges
. I love to see the orange disks evaporate into orange powder.

Again I have never shot an animal.

I would have thought that the post was so outrageous no one would have believed it. If you did believe it I apologize.

To GD1

Here is why. It was a joke!

I do not shoot animals! While I do have a shotgun and 380 caliber pistol I only target practice with them.

I prefer shooting my shotgun at sporting clays ranges
. I love to see the orange disks evaporate into orange powder.

Again I have never shot an animal.

I would have thought that the post was so outrageous no one would have believed it. If you did believe it I apologize.
No worries Talon, I did not actually believe you would do that! If you knew how much I like to hunt you would understand that I was playing along.

No problem GD1. I didn't know if you took it as a joke so I apologized.

Come on PMWinSTP

All I did was print GSUs roster Hight and weights. for the 2019 season under the GSU thread.

The only thing I forgot to do was highlight the starters and their backups. I shall back and do that to the original post and do that for those gophers that want to go back and look.

Please, no. It took up 3/4 of the thread page and anyone out here who wanted that info would just go to the roster web page.
