No. But they look at what you might become. The Coffeys may think he will be getting better coaching and he can work on his craft all the time. I do not buy that as i think you mostly get one shot and then your G-league and then gone. Maybe the college game is thrilling for him, maybe its not. Hell, what do i know. Hunter for UVA will be a top 10 pick that i think should come back but he wont.

The idea of positionless basketball is so foreign to so many posters on here. Versatility is nearly as valued as a 3 & D guy in NBA.

You see G-League guys getting 10 day deals every so often. Someone like Quinn Cook or Tim Frazier who have played well enough in their NBA stints to stick on a roster. Cam Reynolds is a guy on the Wolves right now that is living on 10 day deals. While the G league definitely needs some work in the structure of it, I think it’s been beneficial to those guys on the fringe. Really hope Nate gets a crack on an NBA roster at some point. Really pulling for him.

I like that tweet. If the choices are NBA or Gophers, I think the chances are better than 50/50 that Amir is back with us and primed for a great year.
