The Ohio State football assistants make more money than their counterparts at the University of Minnesota. That leads me to believe that either the Ohio State football program has been more successful than the Gophers, or their program has more resources. I'm going out on a limb here. Don't @ me.
 


The rich schools can't help themselves, they have a ridiculous amount of money and just have to spend it. I do think paying assistants well is a big deal, but $7 million is overkill.
I know they think their new HC is an offensive wiz, but I did not see that last year. I guess we'll see.

If your assistants are only averaging $300k each, how can you have any expectations of them? (Joking of course) Wow that’s crazy money at OSU, 1/2 million to coach TEs. I can see why Urban was fighting to keep his buddy on the payroll.
 

Just win the Big Ten West once and Gopher coaches will see raises across the board. Book it.
