Ranking the Big Ten College Football Coaching Jobs (#12. Minnesota)

Awful list...stupid thing to rank. Just my opinion. There are a million factors that could be entered into the equation. I noticed that there was nothing about death threats to coaches if they don’t win...seems like something that would lower the ranking.

a few thoughts on that:

-. Northwestern is a historically crap job unless you are Pat Fitzgerald

Other than OSU, Michigan, PSU, and maybe Nebraska, all those other jobs are equal if you discount the on the field results of the last 30 years, as well as demographics and institutional commitment.

OK, those are big issues, but the U of M seems to have closed the gap or surpassed the other 9 peer programs.

The U of M is on the uptick in all these areas, so our peers might worry a bit that the status quo is????? If PJ Fleck can bring us back to even UW Husky or even Oklahoma State/ Ol' Miss levels, Iowa, Nebraska , and Wisky are going to be crapping out bricks.

i do expect more than OK State, Miss, performance though.
