42. Minnesota Golden Gophers

What You Need To Know: The defensive ends are good, the defensive back prospects are great, and PJ Fleck came up with the type of class that should crank up the D even more. The quarterbacks coming in are promising, too.

Best Prospect Name You Should Know: S Tyler Nubin

Strongest Position: Defensive Backs

2018 Recruiting Ranking: 64

The entire conference:

7. Michigan
12. Penn State
20. Nebraska
21. Ohio State
26. Wisconsin
28. Purdue
36. Indiana
37. Iowa
39. Michigan State
42. Gophers
48. Northwestern
51. Rutgers
63. Maryland
73. Illinois

Did they come up with their own rankings or are they just using 24/7 or Rivals?

Still don't know how Indiana gets ahead of us in recruiting. Average-at-best facilities, not a football school, boring coach....what am I missing?

Probably because they signed three 4 stars from the state of Indiana.

It was a misprint

Yeah, it sure seems one of 'em is a typo. I just checked, and the "64" is still up on this year's recap, and it still says "36" on the link that "fan of Ray Williams" posted. Maybe that's just CFN's way of covering its butt.

That would help but they still chose Indiana. Could have chosen other nearby schools unless they are like Carter Coughlin and just always dreamed of playing for their home state University.
