Not sure how Nebraska state law works but if Hennepin county wanted to talk t a gopher football player and the university said no, they’d simply not listen

Except the U of M is located inside Hennepin county.

It sounds like in this case, he is being charged in California and they are unable to get to him.

The university doesn’t have the ability to deny any law enforcement the ability to talk to him. Nor does the university have the ability for force a football player to talk to police.
This story (tweet) doesn’t make any sense.

Any why is the news organization publishing a tweet with a picture of a girl who has been sexually exploited and is underage?

The victim actually wanted them to publish....it would give her more credibility. The publication offered to blur the photo as well. She asked to publish as is.

Neb says they knew at the cops wanted to talk to him, but they didn't know why.

Obviously seems like a low character kid.

There is precedent for a popular coach to get away with retaining an abusive boyfriend/highly rated running back: Stoops redshirted Joe Mixon after he broke his girlfriend’s jaw (and Jonny Law gave the kid gloves treatment) and subsequently rode him to the CFP. He retained and reinstated him despite viewing the following

This makes more sense. The original tweet I saw read like the police were trying to run their interviews through the University of Nebraska
