Composite average ranking of Big Ten teams using 4 various college basketball rankings. .... Haslametrics (Erik Haslam), KenPom (Ken Pomeroy), KPI (Kevin Pauga), and NET (NCAA). There are 353 Division I teams.

The best and worst ranking is listed for each team.

1 Michigan State (4.25) -- #3 (Haslametrics, KenPom), #7 (NET)
2 Michigan (6) -- #3 (NET), #8 (Haslametrics)
3 Wisconsin (15.75) -- #11 (KenPom), #20 (KPI)
4 Maryland (17.5) -- #13 (Haslametrics, #24 (NET)
5 Nebraska (22) -- #11 (Haslametrics), #47 (KPI)
6 Purdue (22.25) -- #10 (Haslametrics), #37 (KPI)
7 Ohio State (26.25) -- #17 (Haslametrics), #36 (NET)
8 Indiana (28) -- #18 (NET), #38 (KPI)
9 Iowa (39) -- #35 (NET), #49 (Haslametrics)
10 Minnesota (52.25) -- #29 (KPI), #66 (Haslametrics)
11 Penn State (72.5) -- #60 (KenPom), #94 (KPI)
12 Northwestern (74.5) -- #61 (KenPom, NET), #113 (KPI)
13 Rutgers (103.75) -- #92 (KPI), #111 (Haslametrics)
14 Illinois (116) -- #80 (Haslametrics), #158 (KPI)

I don't like that gap between #9 and #10. Almost looks like a separation point.

Bigger gap between 10 and 11 than 9 and 10.

True, but #11 isn't a viable at-large candidate at this point.

I'm not a believer at all that the Selection Committee limits the number of teams selected from a conference, but if they did, I'd prefer Gophers jump ahead of a couple of these. The good news is Gophers already have a pair of wins over teams significantly ahead of them, one of which came on the road.
