    Life is so fickle. You can live to triple digits or you can be killed driving to work - as was the case with a college classmate and professional colleague a number of years ago. One day, he's just gone. I think of that often, how sudden it can be.

    I remember Ben from his freshman year in 1979. I was able to catch a few games. He seemed real quiet off the court. Most of the team would go to Stub and Herb's after the game. He was always quiet and unassuming. Nice young fellow. And also very big! sporty, do you know him from CoachUp?

    Ben was like a big brother. His youngest brother Lawrence Coleman and I are best friends.

    Iíve known Ben since his North days.
