Fun to see the Kohl center emptying out before the game was over...
Tough to win in the road in the B1G.
 

I/ we rip on the dead fans at Williams Arena all day, but...

It was priceless to watch all those uptight, constipated, entitled 50 to 100 year old (most of their BB fan base) UW fans realize they were going to lose tonight. The first half and last 2 minutes were especially great.

I was wondering when that last happend. I knew I could come here for the answer.
 


Is it really? I'm shocked and a little confused. I thought there was a year in the last 20 when the U swept Wisconsin in football, basketball, and hockey. Did I daydream that?

You daydreamed it if it happened in Madison. As mentioned, last time was 1972-73 it happened in same academic year in Madison in football and basketball.

Since the football team had not won in Madison since 1994, it has for sure not happened in the last 20 years.
 



Gophers football and basketball won in Madison in the same calendar year in 1984, 1986 and 1994, but never in the same school year.
 

We certainty don't have much gloat about. Very pathetic.

This is the grossest stat I’ve ever seen regarding Gopher Sports. Glad it’s over, but it’ll tell you a lot about Gopher Football and Basketball over the last 45 years.
