Yep, citing the positions of Republican lawmakers is the highest form of liberal propaganda.

The crisis at the border is so severe that Sarah Sanders has to lie about it:

It's called cherry picking jtf. It is a daily event for you, so regular that you may have no recognition of it.

Wallace kept serving up softballs to Sanders. She knocked some out, she let some slip by.

How dare he represent the views of his constituents! They should throw him out of office and get someone in there that that ignores their views and decides what is good for them!

Sarah Hucklebees has always enjoyed softballs when she can get them. I understand she's finding it harder to eat out these days.

That's been the GOP minority outreach since 2004. "What you think is wrong. We old white men know what is best for you. Vote for us!"

After being in favor of a wall for years, the Democrats are now against it, for one reason only. The same reason they flip flopped on NAFTA, the TPP, tax cuts for the working/middle classes, ending the war in Syria, etc. They're afraid it will be seen as a "win" for Trump. That is their only motivation. They don't care how many Americans are murdered, raped or hooked on drugs/OD, from the flow of criminals & drugs flowing over the Southern border.

Hurd is one of those people who are too familiar with the situation and too well informed to go in with something so stupid and so harmful to the communities that'll be the most severely affected. Like Paul Douglas - a Republican who knows too much on the subject of weather and climate to support his party's science denial.

How do you feel about seizing private land for government purposes?

The crazy thing about this whole deal is that the 5 billion Trump asks for now is about 8 hours of government spending. The wall or slat wall of whatever you want to call it is not going to be a panacea but it might dramatically reduce illegal border crossings and there are stats to back that up (90% reduction). Considering that illegals are a major financial problem to the tune of over 100 billion per year in costs- why on earth would we not want to at least try this approach. If it doesn't work as well as Trump and most Rs say- then the Dems can say they told us so. If it does...we should all be happy. It is insane that we cannot get this done. Congress is currently broken. Politicians on both sides are liars and opportunists. We should all be tired of it and we should all want to see solutions implemented and properly managed.

Let's say it's January 2011. The GOP has just won the House. Obama demands $5B more for ACA subsidies in the next spending bill or he'll shut down the government. How do Republicans respond?
