The Quarterbacks:
Minnesota has had a bit of a problem with their quarterback situation this season and both present their own challenges. Zack Annexstad started the first seven games with Tanner Morgan starting six games and participating in eight. The pair of freshmen have been rotating time for the Golden Gophers due to a combination of injury issues and sometimes poor play. Whichever freshman starts on Wednesday they will be facing a defense that is giving up 220 yards per game and 22 touchdowns to only 12 interceptions.
The Georgia Tech defense has struggled to keep opponents from finishing drives which have equally been a concern for Minnesota and their offense. Georgia Tech is coming off a game where the Georgia offense seemingly scored at will so it will be interesting to see how they respond for this game.
