Isn't one of their advantages (aside from proving they are a really good football team year in and year out) that they have much lower academic standards than most power 5 schools?
 



FYI - they are currently ranked 65 on the Rivals ream recruiting rankings, just below Rutgers and just ahead of Illinois.
 

BSU only has 15 commits but look at their average rating per recruit just below 86.00

They are 56th on 247Sports and have three Four Stars and two high Three Stars.
