This seems like a great last-minute signing. We need help/depth in the secondary and he should be able to contribute right away.
 


I don't remember ever hearing about this guy, does this mean they think they're losing another player they thought was going to commit earlier?

No. It means they didn't get any of the other JUCO DBs they wanted and got him instead (my thought at least)

He is new to pretty much all of us. Seems like even Burns was surprised.

Burns hinted at him during the Gopher podcast he does released over night.
 

Looks to have the ability to play pretty decent man coverage. The depth is needed, and hopefully he can contribute immediately.
 



6'1" 200#... Love the size... Had alot of offers, sounds like we stole one from Kentucky. Speaking of.. what a job stoops is doing there...

Anyone know what happened to Damarion Williams? Was committed for like a week, I see he didn’t sign anywhere.

On Burns' podcast he mentioned that Williams had some sort of incident after he committed that caused the Gophers to drop him.
