All Things Jordan Murphy Chasing BT All Time Leading Rebounding Record Thread

per the U:

MURPHY ON BIG TEN'S ALL‐TIME REBOUNDING CHART
Murphy continues to stretch his school‐record rebounding lead, as his 10 rebounds give him 1,160 for his career.
Murphy is one of just 14 players in Big Ten history with 1,000 or more rebounds, and he ranks second all‐time. Murphy
passed Purdue's Joe Barry Carroll (1,148 rebounds during 1976‐80) for second place on Jan. 27, and Ohio State's Jerry
Lucas (1959‐62) is the all‐time leader with 1,411.

Go Gophers!!

I think Murph can catch Lucas!

There are 11 more regular season games. At his current average that will add 132 more rebounds.

4 games in the B1G tournament (Gophers into Championship game) adds 50 more.

1160 + 182 = 1342 leaving Murph only 69 boards behind to get in the Gopher run to the final 4!!!!

And then, I woke up.

Go Gophers!!

If we makes the finals of the BTT and make a run in the NCAAs...Murphy can be #1. Only needs 10 more games or so. I hope he gets 1300

Go Gophers!!

Pretty remarkable accomplishment. I was able to watch most of the game on TV and was wondering if they mentioned it. He is so quick off his feet and has such great timing. In spite of his sometimes dumb offensive moves, I appreciate his game.
