Kenni Burns to Eastern Illinois?

Fleck building that coaching tree.

Go Gophers!!

Good for him, it's a great opportunity. Sounds like we might need a new RB coach.

Yep, can't ever fault an assistant for moving on to bigger and better things. According to the story he grew up very close to the campus so sure he still has a lot of ties to the area. Hopefully it works out for him.

It sucks to lose good coaches but it also means you're hiring good coaches to begin with.

Good for him. If it doesn’t work out, happy to have him here

He's done really great work. This year especially. Hope it works out for him!

I didn't think he could top his work on the Civil War but after seeing his Vietnam series, he has proven he can sustain and project his success forward into other interesting areas..

They hired Adam Cushing, the longtime o-line coach at Northwestern (dozen years total, ten as oline coach).

He is a very good recruiter and one of Fitz closest confidants.

Here's hoping Cushing takes a few more of Fitz assistants with him.

Interesting hire. On paper, getting a Power 5 OL coach (with a decade of experience) seems like a pretty good get for a struggling FCS program. He's almost certainly taking a pay cut to go there. (And that would be an actual pay cut, not the pretend one P.J. took when he came here.) But then you read their fan boards and they're basically ecstatic to have him gone. The vitriol seems oddly out of place for a school that's had a fantastic run for an elite academic institution playing major college football.
