And I believe Michigan State was 11th pre-season and they finished 7-5, so that's 4 of the top 11.

MSU nearly lost to Rutgers to end up 6-6, which is a huge drop from their preseason status.

This is why preseason rankings are STUPID. Everyone knows this, and yet we continue seeing them. And they provide "strength of schedule" fodder at the end of the year when somebody can say they beat a ranked team...even if that team finishes out of the rankings. Stupid.
