Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports gets it started.

Minnesota at Wisconsin. Line: Wisconsin by 10. The Paul Bunyan Ax has resided in Madison since 2004, and the last eight meetings haven’t really been close. But the Gophers are playing for bowl eligibility and looking for their first big win under boat-rowing P.J. Fleck against a disappointing Badgers team. Like Chris Cornell, The Dash is feeling Minnesota. Dash pick: Minnesota 24, Wisconsin 23.

Clearly not a dink.

Yeah, if he calls himself "The Dash", he's probably still a dink, no matter what the pick is.

CFN chimes in:

What’s Going To Happen
The Wisconsin defense will be more than fine at home.

There won’t be enough of a Gopher passing game to bother the Badger secondary, and there won’t be enough long drives to offset the massive time of possession imbalance.

Taylor will get to 2,000, Minnesota will miss out on a bowl, and it’ll be a 15th straight win for the Badgers.

Fearless Prediction & Line
Wisconsin 34, Minnesota 20

Go Gophers!!

Final Analysis

Wisconsin is the heavy favorite entering Saturday, but the Badgers know they will get Minnesota’s best shot as the Gophers try to claw their way towards bowl eligibility. With sloppy weather expected on game day, look for both teams to lean heavily on the run game — and you never want to go toe-to-toe with the Badgers in that department. Minnesota keeps this close, but Wisconsin will extend its win streak to 15 games over the Gophers.

Prediction: Wisconsin 26, Minnesota 17

STATE JOURNAL'S PICK
While the Badgers have put together a rather underwhelming season thus far, it wouldn’t be the first time they finished off a disappointing year with a win over Minnesota. UW’s the better team and should make it 15 straight over the Gophers.

BADGERS 24, MINNESOTA 13

Go Gophers!!

Jack Mac at Barstool Sports:
Minnesota @ Wisconsin (-10.5, O/U 54), 3:30 PM:

Jonathan Taylor:
2017: 1,977 yards, 13 TDs in 14 games
2018: 1,869 yards, 15 TDs in 11 games

The 2018 season obviously hasn't gone as Wisconsin expected, but JT is having one of the best 2-year stretches of any college RB ever.

As you can see, Jonathan Taylor is a hundred yards and change away from eclipsing the 2000 yard mark. I say he gets that in the first half.

Wisconsin’s year has been disappointing, but they still boast the 2nd best rushing attack in the nation. Minnesota’s rush defense ranks 109th.

I could see Jonathan Taylor putting up more total offense than Minnesota on Senior Day. Blow out victory for the Badgers.

Pick: Wisconsin -10.5

Journal Sentinel chimes in:

Jeff Potrykus' prediction
UW continues to battle injuries as right tackle David Edwards (left arm) could miss his second consecutive start and left tackle Cole Van Lanen missed time during the week. No problem. UW will be able to run the ball well enough with Jonathan Taylor, and UW’s defense will make enough plays to slow Minnesota’s offense. The Badgers will extend their winning streak over the Gophers to 15 games with a 31-17 victory.

None of these writers have the slightest clue what will happen.
