More athletic than I expected. Very solid debut

my biggest issue with him as a recruit (and probably the reason he wasn't highly recruited) was athleticism. He seemed to be a step slow and definitely a below the rim guy even at 6'4". BUT if he can make up for that defensively by being in the right position and having good strength then his shooting and feel for cutting/playing off the ball is invaluable. Most really good teams seem to have a guy like that in their lineup. I'm beginning to think Gabe is the real reason Coffey is playing PG with the 1st unit. It's more about getting him on the floor as a spacer which gives you 3 plus shooters on the floor with that lineup where starting Washington leaves you with just 2. At least the bench unit should have Hurt and Stull as shooters
