You would have to think Petrino's name would resurface somewhere else. He has been pretty successful and after just one bad year you wonder if someone else might have some interest.

this report is leading to it likely being a foregone conclusion. It will cost Lville 14 million to pay off Petrino and upwards to 40 million for the combo. It says they don't spend this kind of money to go with Plan B/C.

Judging by this Clip from BTN.. I wouldn’t feel good about him sticking around if I was a Purdue Fan

He is gone.......he knows if he turns it down he would not get another shot at it for another 4-5 years minimum. It's probably his dream job.

    Wierd they’d want him

Doesn’t sound good, but perhaps he’s trying too see how much is in Fort Knox. Nice position to be in.

He's a PoS as a person, and a lot of people think he tanked just to get fired at his last job.... and if he didn't, he sucks.

    That's not a good combo.

It's not really clear if Papa John is still giving or not, naming rights, bad breakup aside and all. He could still be backing them quietly.

Reports that Colorado will be dumping their coach at end of season.

Wasn't Colorado pretty decent last year? I'm not sure why one down year is enough to fire coaches. Colorado hasn't had a hint of being good in a long time...

Really Early. Why mess with Black Friday at all...

I suppose that is the end of the season. So some coaches go right away to their new team. Purdue will be a dumpster fire for a year or two.
