Torn ACL for IU QB

Michael Penix, the true frosh QB who gave Indiana a spark vs Penn State before leaving game with injury, tore his ACL in the game.

More of a running threat than Ramsey, who has been the main starter and throws a nice ball.

True frosh Reese Taylor will be the back-up...another guy who runs well...an Indy Ben Davis star (Marqueis Gray alma mater).

They had brought in a grad transfer from Arizona, Brandon Dawkins, but he left when he didn't get starting job.

This reminds me a bit of Vic Vermontes. Which then led me to think about where this team would be had he lived up to the expectations many had of him. Having said that, QB play has not been one of the bigger problems this team has.
