Gopher football fan demographic

I live in Rochester, and it seems like the only people you see wearing gopher gear (in like say a bar or restaurant) are 70-80 year olds who remember the glory days and love to tell me about it (when they see me decked out in maroon and gold). Or they are an alum or have a child going to the U.
