Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere but I missed it. David Cobb is still playing football. He will play in the new AAF league for San Antonio Commanders in spring 2019.

Cobb played in "The Spring League" in 2018 and briefly played in the CFL this summer for the Roughriders.

Garrison Wright (G) is also on a roster, looks like he will play for the Birmingham Iron. Interestingly enough, Max Shortell is also listed on Birmingham's roster.

With the exception of SLC having thinner air, they would be very similar. What's your point?

I'm surprised nobody's started a thread about Shortell playing football after his college days, yet Mitch Leidner isn't, because he & the former staff sucked...

He never did anything impressive in college. His Jr year at Jacksonville State was mediocre 57% 7 tds 6 ints, and his senior year he only played 6 games, threw for 463 yards, 4ts, 2 ints.

I’m surprised he’s still pursuing the dream but hey, if it works out for him and he can make a living more power to him. Leidner appears to already be on to plan B.
