P.J. Fleck has a ton of respect for Kirk Ferentz.

On Saturday, one of the best trophies in college football is on the line, as Iowa and Minnesota battle for Floyd of Rosedale, a trophy of a bronzed pig. Ahead of that rivalry game, Fleck had showed nothing but respect to the Hawkeyes and the B1G’s longest-tenured coach.

“Kirk Ferentz is one of the best college football coaches in the history of college football,” Fleck said during his weekly press conference. “You know what you’re gonna get when you play Iowa. Whether you’re in Iowa City or you’re here in Minneapolis or you’re in Kalamazoo, Michigan, you know what you’re gonna get.

“I think that’s what make them really special. You know exactly what you’re going to get behind that brand. All the time. A lot of brands change that every three years and you don’t necessarily know what you’re gonna get. Well, with Iowa, you always know what you’re gonna get. That’s a complete compliment to them.”

Go Gophers!!

He can chew gum as his team pisses away a game like no one I've ever seen. Nerves of steel.

Hot Take: PJ is talking up the other coaches because he will need another job!
