12. MINNESOTA (3-1)
The Golden Gophers got off to a 3-0 start, but it came against a soft schedule. Then they lost star running back Rodney Smith for the season, then they got hammered by Maryland, and then they lost star defensive back Antoine Winfield for the season. With a limited offense and its best two players out, Minnesota will struggled the rest of the way.

10. Minnesota (3-1, 0-1). Last week’s bye came at the perfect time for the Golden Gophers, seeing as how they were fresh off their first loss, had just lost star DB Antoine Winfield Jr. to a season-ending injury, and the fact a trip to Iowa loomed. We will see how P.J. Fleck’s youth handles the rivalry with the Hawkeyes.

Wow, extremely lame that the conference network that is televising the game got this wrong. Hope they catch it in time to redirect the camera crew and announcers...
