Gophers legend Tony Dungy spoke to the team before they square off with Miami (OH) at 2:30 p.m. He talked about his days with head coach Cal Stoll, the advice he received from Jim Brewer and why everyone needs to "Row The Boat" to create something special. Here's Dungy's entire speech. This afternoon, he will be attending his first Gophers game in 44 years:

Dungy, a quarterback for the Gophers from 1973-1976, awarded the University of Minnesota with the "Hometown Hall of Famer Award", presented by Ford. The plaque will now be displayed at a location on campus as the University becomes the 121st school to receive this honor from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Dungy was a two-time Super Bowl Champion, winning Super Bowl XIII as a player for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Super Bowl XLI as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. He became the first African-American coach to win a Super Bowl. Dungy was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.

Here's a video of the entire ceremony:

Wow - what a nice inspirational leader Tony Dungy is. It is great that the Gophers are truly emphasizing spiritualism.
