The Big Ten released the start times and television assignments for the 2018-19 women’s basketball conference schedule on Thursday afternoon, with all 126 games to be nationally produced and distributed for the fifth consecutive season. The conference also unveiled times and network designations for selected non-conference games hosted by Big Ten schools as part of Thursday’s announcement.

The Big Ten is returning to an 18-game women’s basketball conference schedule this season, with each school facing five opponents twice in a home-and-away series, while playing the other eight schools once (five at home, five on the road). Conference play begins Dec. 28 and will lead up to the 26th Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, which takes place March 6-10, 2019, in Indianapolis at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, home of the WNBA’s Indiana Fever and NBA’s Indiana Pacers.

National television coverage for Big Ten women’s basketball begins on the opening Sunday of the season, Nov. 11, live on BTN when Northwestern plays host to Duke in the Wildcats’ first game at newly-refurbished Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston. It will be the first of at least 68 women's basketball broadcasts on BTN during the 2018-19 season.

ESPN2 will carry at least nine Big Ten women’s basketball contests this year, beginning Dec. 9 when Michigan State welcomes Oregon to the Breslin Center in East Lansing.

BTN will televise the first 12 games of the 2019 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, covering the first round through the semifinals from March 6-9, with ESPN2 set to broadcast the tournament championship game on March 10.

BTN’s women’s basketball coverage also includes highlights and analysis on B1G Women’s Sports Report, which begins later this month and will air on Wednesdays throughout the season.

All BTN on-air games can be streamed via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on BTN2Go, BTN’s digital extension, as well as through the FOX Sports app. More than 100 additional games also will be streamed on BTN Plus on BTN2Go, and many of those will air on delay on BTN as part of the Student U initiative.

Three road games and six home games:
