BTN is first out of the gate:

11. Minnesota (1-0). True Freshman walk-on QB Zack Annexstad looked solid in his debut vs. New Mexico State, finishing with 220 yards and a pair of scores to WR Tyler Johnson. MOre good news: Running back Rodney Smith looked more like his 2016 version, gaining 153 yards on 24 carries.
Last week: 11
Up next: vs. Fresno State

Go Gophers!!

That's a pretty good list.

Only surprise is that Neb is ranked as high as they are.
Evidently Scott Frost is doing good things.

It's not where you start, it's where your finish

I think we'll be in the top by year end :)

12. MINNESOTA (1-0)
It's unclear if Zack Annexstad is the next Baker Mayfield, but the only other true freshman walk-on to start a season opener kicked off his career with a victory. Annexstad had two TD passes after an early fumble, and got nice support from Minnesota's ground game, led by Rodney Smith (24 carries, 153 yards). And Antoine Winfield Jr. provided quite the highlight with a 76-yard punt return for a TD. (Last week: 12)

10. Minnesota Golden Gophers (1-0)
Game result: W, vs. New Mexico State, 48-10

Movement from last poll: Up (3 spots)

Let’s not read too much into a dominating win over a creampuff. But at least it won big against an opponent it was supposed to — the same cannot be said for Michigan State or Penn State. Minnesota has been a 6- to 9-win team for the last five seasons, and that seems to be where expectations are again.

11. Minnesota (last week – 12)
The Gophers slide by one spot has more to do with what Maryland did than what they did not do. The competition level goes up a bit this week with a game against Fresno State, but we still have a few weeks to go before we really know how far the boat can be rowed.

MINNESOTA 1-0, 0-0 (BEAT NEW MEXICO ST. 48-10) Last week: DNP
Last rank: 13

Much like Illinois, the Golden Gophers struggled out of the gate. Unlike the Fighting Illini, Minnesota was able to take charge thanks to a shaky first quarter.

After being tied with a bad New Mexico State team 7-7 after the first quarter, the Gophers scored four touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 35-10 lead at the half. The never looked back.

The good news is that Minnesota had some offensive success. New starting quarterback Zack Annexstad threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns. Star running back Rodney Smith ran for 153 while Mohamed Ibrahim ran for 101 yards on just nine carries.

The bad news is that Annexstad completed less than 50 percent of his passes. It’s hard to tell what Minny has with a blowout win over a bad Aggies team. That’s why they only moved up one spot.
