Since we have class of 2020 and 2021, figured never too early to post class of 2022.

Only two Minnesota offers I am aware of is

-Maya Nnaji-Hopkins-6’2 Forward
-Amaya Battle-Hopkins-Hopkins-5’7 Guard

Looks like Bueckers will have some young guns to help her try and get that state title. Battle started last year for them as an 8th grader.

Not sure if gophers have offered but know the name Mara Braun from Wayzata was also mentioned as gophers interested.

Battle is now 5'10. Nnaji is now a legit 6'3. UM has also offered 6'1 PF Mallory Heyer of Chaska. Mara Braun will surely get an offer. It's a fairly deep class but some of the best players are pretty small right now. Watch for Emma Miller of St. Michael-Albertville and Kaylynn Asberry of Como Park to emerge. They are both tiny but super-skilled.

This may have been pointed out in another recruiting thread, but a thing to keep an eye on is where Nnaji's brother commits to. He is a senior and they both recently took a trip to Ohio State and received offers.

Pitino better get going on getting this coming season on track. Hopefully, Nnaji is not tied to her brother at the hips on college choice.
