Lindsay Whalen retires from the WNBA (Share your story!)

This morning, Lindsay Whalen announced she would be retiring from the WNBA at the conclusion of the 2018 season.

The new head coach of the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Whalen will continue to have an impact on Minnesota basketball for years to come.

I remember the party we went to before the final four in New Orleans with her entire family and large group from Hutchinson. My favorite with her was @ a golf fund raiser when she hit the green on a par 3 of 195 yards and it landed about 10' from the hole. She shrugged her shoulders and said " people do this every weekend ? "
