Full disclosure: Not a fan of ESPN's BPI or FPI (college football) rankings, but nonetheless this is a very respectable number for a team coming off the kind of season the Gophers had. #43 would be solidly in bubble territory.

On the down side, 10 B1G teams ranked ahead of the Gophers:

#8 Wisconsin
#13 Michigan State
#19 Iowa
#21 Illinois
#26 Northwestern
#29 Indiana
#37 Purdue
#38 Maryland
#40 Michigan
#42 Penn State

Wisconsin at 8, Iowa 19, Illini at 21 and NW at 26. I can see why you're not a fan

Yes, those rankings stood out much more so than the Gophers'. And Nebraska in bottom 3 of Big Ten?

My god, that's awful. The BPI has never been a good indicator of where a team will/won't fall come Selection Sunday.
