Linebacker TD Rood played well for Georgia Tech last year as a freshman. Dad left for NCSU. Roof will not have to sit a year per NCAA exemption on transfer rule.

Indiana also has ASU grad transfer Brandon Dawkins at QB thrown in mix.

A linebacker with some playing time who they thought was quitting, even skipped Spring ball, is now returning for final year.

Hold on... How is this any different than the Marcus Carr situation for the basketball team? I haven't heard a ruling for Marcus Carr to this point but I haven't heard positive momentum in the slightest. The NCAA is so unreliable.
