I don't think Lovie seat is as hot as people think. He was hired post Spring ball by the AD when he was a day on the job, he's gonna give Lovie every opportunity to turn this around. Next year is when the seat will be hot

Maybe, but who is Illinois going to attract / spend money on?

I don't think his seat is hot this year, if only because they'd have to hire someone new... I don't think they have a lot of options so they have to stick with Lovie a bit longer.
 

If I were Illinois and hiring, I’d look no further than whatever young successful MAC head coach is available.

It has nothing to do with Fleck. Kill came from MAC success too.

Iowa State is having really nice results, as well.
