Some info from the article:

Motzko got right to work recruiting for the Gophers after the hire by landing four forwards for the future. He got a verbal commitment from Mason Nevers (Edina-HS) on April 5, then flipped Ben Meyers (Fargo-USHL) on April 16 from a previous commitment to Nebraska-Omaha and Garrett Pinoniemi (Holy Family-HS) from a previous commitment to St. Cloud State on May 25. The fourth forward, Bryce Brodzinski (Blaine-HS), also was flipped from St. Cloud State.

...[Scott] Reedy is one of two Gophers that had off-season surgery to repair a torn labrum, an injury he suffered against Penn State in the second series of the season. Like many players he’s busy taking summer classes, working with strength and conditioning coach Cal Dietz, and eager to see what the coaches’ plan will be once the season gets underway. Reedy and forward Brannon McManus underwent the same surgery and are both quickly rehabbing so they can fully participate in offseason training...

...What’s next for the Gophers will have to wait until the season kicks off in Duluth on October 6 when the Bulldogs will raise their national championship banner. The team will be adding five players recruited by the previous staff — forwards Blake McLaughlin (Chicago-USHL), Sammy Walker (Edina-HS) and Garrett Wait (Waterloo-USHL); defensemen Robbie Stucker (Fargo-USHL) and Ben Brinkman (Edina-HS). Motzko has also added defenseman Matt Denman (Cedar Rapids-USHL) and flipped another SCSU recruit in forward Nathan Burke (Aberdeen-NAHL) for next season.

Less than two months before the season he just flipped a third rounder that was set to go to uw this season and will now be here.

Talk about impact.

It is like we have always said. The Gophers can get most any player they want. More toughness, hustle and attention to the details and the Gophers will improve tremendously.

Now he flipped Jack Perbix. Bob is killing it and the hockey team will retake its place as the contender of the department sooner rather than later.
