Looks like the staff was busy tonight with their 1st elite camp

Decided to look up Ross. Got totally fooled by the first video, from March 27th. I assumed it was Ross doing the fancy dribbling right off the bat. Nope. Ross takes it from that player. Not often you see a highlight video with a heavy emphasis on defense but here you go!

On her twitter profile, she considers herself a 6’2 prospect for 2022.

Bueckers congratulated her on her Wisconsin offer, but has yet to congratulate on her Minnesota offer. I know.... give her time.

Shes gonna be a freshman so class of 2022 is correct. Sister of Zeke Nnaji.

Wow. What is not to like about this player? Whalen's on a roll.

Wait, I thought Whalen was too busy doing double-duty to be offering scholarships? Is that a cardboard cutout of Whalen in the photos with those two young prospects? (Sarcasm....couldn't resist.)

Gophers also offered Adalia McKenzie of Park Center & Minnesota Stars Hersch this week. She is the #1 ranked player in Minnesota in the class of 2021. Dynamic, athletic wing who was already a dominant high school player this year.

Isn’t it pretty routine for a coach to offer all the best local players? I suspect Bueckers was offered by Stollings, but no parade was held for her. Let’s save the parades for acceptances. :)

Not at the pace that Whalen is doing. She is giving early notice that the Gophers are serious about them. Whalen appears to be a good talent evaluator.

If Coach Lindsay Whalen can get Justice Ross, with Grace Cumming staying committed and first MN recruit Sara Scalia you will have a pretty darn good start for 2019 recruiting.

Once again anonymous eagle has some info:

I had to do a little bit of detective work on this one, as she doesn’t have her last name on her own Twitter profile. Thankfully, a quick Google search for her high school and her high school coach’s name quickly turned up this page for the team and thus her name.

As you can see from the tweets about her offer, Ngalakulondi is a class of 2019 recruit, and she attends Proctor Academy in New Hampshire. She was named New Hampshire Player of the Year by both USA Today and Gatorade, and remember: she was a junior this season. According to the USA Today announcement of her honors, she averaged 24.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, 3.6 blocks and 2.9 steals this past season, which seems pretty good. Proctor reached the NH Class C semifinals this year after winning the whole shebang each of the past two years, all while Ngalakulondi racked up 1,213 points in three seasons.

Either girls basketball competition in New Hampshire is somewhat lackluster or people are massively sleeping on Ngalakulondi, because those stats are bonkers and definitely do not connect up to the level of scholarship offers that she’s been getting.

Gophers have offered 2022 Mallory Heyer of Chaska and Fury 2022 Blue. 6’2 forward has multiple nice D1 offers.

Includes a video interview:

Following in the footsteps of older brother Zeke Nnaji, Hopkins Class of 2022 6-foot-2 center Maya Nnaji is starting to get high-major D-1 offers.

Zeke, entering his senior year at Hopkins, has over 15 big-time offers, including Arizona, UCLA, Wisconsin, Georgetown, and the Gophers.

Maya got her first D-1 offer from Wisconsin in early June, then Lindsay Whalen and the Gophers followed up a few days later. She also is receiving solid interest from Ohio State and Baylor. Performing well for her AAU team, Minnesota Suns Coley 2021, helped college programs take further notice.

Wisconsin in women's basketball is not a big time offer. Power 5 offer, but there is a difference.

I have to respectfully disagree. By your logic being signed by the Indiana Fever isn’t a professional opportunity for a player because they are in a down cycle and are in last place. Any Big 10 offer is a big deal even if it is from a rebuilding program with a new coaching staff.

Does anyone have any sort of list of known offers for 2020s, 2021s or 2022s. I feel like looking through Im seeing a lot of names but unsure if gophers have actually offered or players people are wanting them to go after? I understand might be a lot so at least does anyone know of Minnesota kids in those classes that have Minnesota offers?

These are the known offers of Minnesota kids:
2020s: Alyssa Ustby, Mackenzie Kramer, Paige Bueckers, Lauren Jensen
2021s: Sophie Hart, Kendall Coley, Adalia McKenzie
2022s: Maya Nnaji, Mallory Heyer, Amaya Battle

Sweet! thanks for that. Besides Bueckers who we all know is top notch level kid, any of the others high level (the UConn, Notre dame etc level) ? also what type of schools are the gophers competing with to get these kids? is gophers their biggest offer?

I don't have information on all of the offers these kids have received but I'm not aware of any on the Notre Dame, UCONN, Maryland level. I think that is highly unlikely for any of these kids. It's pretty clear though that Jensen is considered by D1 coaches as a Power 5 kid and Ustby is being wooed by at least one school in the Pac 12. After this viewing period, however, I think there will be plenty more. To this point the offers are from the usual mid-major suspects: USD, SDSU, Green Bay, NDSU etc.
It's pretty early on the 21s and 22s. Battle is considered a power 5 player. I'm confident Heyer will be, as well.
