I'd take the over on Northwestern...

I'd take that under on Wisconsin. Over on Northwestern.

idk would have to look at schedules of some of the others.

These totals would include bowl games right?

I would probably take the over on Nebraska too.

I'd take the over on the juggernaut Maryland Terrapins. The odds makers must not have even LOOKED at the 24/7 talent rankings....

That has to be an error on Maryland that odds are -110 both directions from 4.5 (and Penn State from 9.5). I could bet $5000 on over and $5000 on under and guarantee walking away with $10,500. It works on whole number wins since they don't pay out on equals, but with a half number win it makes no sense (they'd be virtually guaranteed to lose money)...

For the record, if you don't mind staying a ways south of the strip, South Point (casino these odds are from) is a really nice casino. It's been a few years since I was there, but we stayed there twice and really enjoyed it. Not as fancy as some on the strip, but really clean, classy, nice place. Not like most of the dumps that are off strip. Though the one time I stayed there we flew into Vegas, spent the night there and drove down to Tempe to see THE Insight Bowl. That took a little away from the experience. The best part of that trip was getting the phone call from my brother-in-law on the way back to Vegas in the one small stretch between the two towns where we actually had a signal that Mason had been fired. Good times... ;)

That's... not how that works.
If you bet $5000 on each side then you would guarantee ($5000) and $4545.45 for a total of ($454.55).
You'd basically cut the casino a check.

Please explain it in more detail -- I'm not saying you're wrong, I just don't know how the betting lines actually work (I gotta get out more...)

-110 means that you have to bet $110 to win $100 (10/11), so if you bet each side of the O/U, then you would be guaranteed to lose $110 and win $100 for a total loss of $10. If you bet $5000 on each side then you would be guaranteed to win (10/11)($5,000)=$4,545.45 and guaranteed to lose $5000 for a total loss of $454.55.

The .44 in your quote was a typo.

When sports betting becomes legal in MN you can come bet at my sports book any time you want!

Assuming they achieve both the over and the under in the same season you are pretty close to spot on

Those lines are perfect, as usual...no obvious money to be made. That MN line is especially good.

Honestly wish they would have set the MN line at 5.5.
I'm not comfortable taking them at 6 even without vig.

I see our upside around 7 wins this year.

I have a good feeling about Fleck but you can't bet on good feelings ha.
