nek·ton
ˈnektən,ˈnekˌtän/
nounZOOLOGY
noun: nekton
aquatic animals that are able to swim and move independently of water currents.

Okay...someone explain how Fleck is using nekton as a motivational tool.

WTF does Nekton mean?

If you can wade through the aquatic agriculture terms - Striving for excellence against all odds and doing it consistently, and maintaining a winning mentality.

I think it means he has a 2000 pound neck.

I would have gone for a more specific vertebrate sub-phylum like a carachodon of the week but maybe that’s too violent and carnivoristic. Planet Klingon/Krypton/Vulcan/Nekton is just too easy to conflate.

WTF does Nekton mean?

That PJ Fleck has his own language, and doesn't care if the words he uses don't make sense, or fit the definition. Nekton is any organism in a body of water that is capable of independent movement. I'm pretty sure he's not tweeting that Weyler's a jellyfish, but maybe he is? Based on his choice of words, that would be a correct interpretation. of the award based on the title.

Like the Honey Bager, PJ Fleck don't care.
