I think Boldt is a decent hire. Fairly successful as an assistant coach, tough hard nose player and very family with Nebraska baseball.

Michigan wins again today, over Florida State.
One win away from the finals. Impressive showing thus far for the Wolverines.

Wow a Big10 team experiencing this level of success is fun to see. Wish it were us, but still fun to see.

Michigan is hammering Texas Tech 12-3 in the 7th. If the Wolverines hold on they'll be the first B1G team in the CWS finals since 1966.

Michigan won game 1 last night over Vanderbilt and plays for a National Championship tonight. Tough task for the Wolverines tonight facing stud freshman Kumar Rocker and Michigan going with a midweek pitcher. Michigan should have both their 1 and 2 pitchers fully ready for a possible game 3 tomorrow night though so maybe a little bit of strategy there from Bakich facing the tough task of Rocker tonight.

Rocker was certainly impressive last night. The scoreline didn't represent how dominant Vandy looked. Winner-take-all game 3 tonight; should be a good one. I'm hopeful Michigan can win it for the B1G but it's a tall task.

And the Gophers remain the only Big Ten team to win 3 College World Series titles, a distinction that may never be broken. It’s hard to believe that only 8 other programs in history have won more than Minnesota.
