I like this - a good matchup for both programs.

Go Gophers!!

Solid game. Utah could potentially be a tournament team next season.

SS- what's the schedule looking like for next season?

@ Boston College
Vs. Utah
Vancouver Challenge

Am I missing anything?

My guess is U.S. Bank Stadium game vs. Oklahoma State will be Nov. 7-10 range, perhaps the season opener.

March 13-17: B1G Tournament

I don't know if it has been officially announced, but Both Gach previously from Austin, MN committed to Utah a few days ago. It also appears that one of Danya Kingsby's JUCO teammates has signed with Utah.

I believe Utah loses a fair amount from this past seasons team, but Larry usually has a solid team year in and year out so this should be a solid game. So far it's shaping up to be a solid schedule for the Gophers. It appears that Pitino is scheduling a fair amount of games that will challenge his team prior to the big ten schedule.

March 13-17: B1G Tournament

Forgot about the Oklahoma State game. Thanks for the reminder. The schedule looks really good on paper thus far. Can't overstate how important it is to avoid Santa Clara. UC-Irvine should be respectable again this season.

Also is it just 10 OOC games with the larger conference schedule?

Non-conference games likely will be 11. ...

20 conference

+

7 non-conference games

+

1 exempt tournament (Vancouver Showcase) up to 4 games = 31 max

UC-Irvine is a possible Vancouver Showcase opponent, not definite.

Good news. Anyone know the ETA on when we will know the final OOC schedule?

Off the top of my head, doesn’t our schedule usually get released in August? Or maybe I’m thinking of the conference schedule.

Non-conference schedule was released Aug. 15 last year, the complete schedule a day later.

The non-conference schedule is looking solid so far. I definitely wouldn't view Texas A&M, Washington, BC, Oklahoma St, and Utah as slam-dunk NCAA tourney teams next year, but the potential to play five teams from major conferences sure is nice to see. Washington probably has the highest ceiling out of that bunch. Hopefully the Gophers will beat Texas A&M to avoid Santa Clara (no chance SC beats Washington in the first round game).
