I don't see anyway Pitt isn't sitting out this year. You can't reward a team with a game in the challenge for going 0-16. And they still project to be terrible.
 

Also Clemson deserves to get Michigan State before L'Ville does but I understand your reasoning.
 

If we drew Notre Dame, how would we expect to compare?

The last place ACC team usually sits outs. I’m not 100% sure, but I think the same team won’t sit out 2 years in a row.

That’s my thought process as well. Clemson as MSU’s opponent makes more sense, but Tigers don’t have Louisville’s “royalty” factor.

Royalty needs to be abandoned for a lot of reasons.
