per KSTP:

The Gophers men's basketball team was decimated by injuries and suspensions during the 2017-2018 season, but with a strong incoming freshman class, there is optimism for next season.

Head coach Richard Pitino is part of the Gophers Road Trip which is touring different cities across Minnesota.

KSTP caught up with him after their stop in Cannon Falls where Pitino gave injury updates on Eric Curry, Amir Coffey, Dupree McBrayer and incoming freshman Daniel Oturu.

Go Gophers!!

Guessing the posters obsessed with adding a true pg won't love his comments.

good interview.

thanks for posting

most important thing this summer is that we need to get Amir, Dupree, Curry, and Daniel healthy for the start of practice!

And given that factual statement, we are filling the roster with more ineligible players and question marks.

I love me some Pitino, but he is consistently playing the roster game very close to the line.

"So much of it is out of our control", except, ya know, the things he controls directly. Like roster construction.
